SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS IN PITTSBURGH
Transpitt
is not an organization that provides professional counseling services.
Most of our members and all of the officers can talk about their personal
experiences and provide support to the transgendered community. We have
interfaces with the Gay and Lesbian Community Center, Persad, PFLAG
(Parents and friends of lesbians and gays), and several other organizations
in town. In addition, we have a close tie with the Pittsburgh Transsexual
Support Group.
If
you need to talk about your transgendered lifestyle, you can give
us a call on Mondays at our phone line (412.422.1558 between 7pm and
9:30pm) or you can give a call to one of these organizations. If other
local organizations wish to be listed, please email Nikki at thenikki@hotmail.com .
